Grandparents Rights Unfair
Grandparents have no rights to custody or visitations after parents lose parental rights.
Why is this important?
I was personally affected by this after trying to gain custody of my grandson. I have not been able to have any visitation or contact since his foster parents adopted him. They won custody over the assumption that it would be detrimental to his well being because of attachment issues towards the foster parents. He wasn't even two years old yet. I think it will be more detrimental for him not to be bonded to his own family.
