Description & Presenter:

This webinar will explore water trail ambassador programs from coast to coast - detailing two programs that train and deploy volunteer ambassadors to raise awareness around watershed protection. Additionally, a "Best of the Rest" presentation will highlight a number of short-term and long-term stewardship efforts around the country. The webinar will explore all levels of ambassador and stewardship programs, ranging from single-day clean-ups to ongoing efforts.

 

Presenter Amy Camp owns Cycle Forward, a consulting practice focused on trail tourism and place making, and is also an American Trails Board Member. Amy's main client is the Pennsylvania Environmental Council (PEC), where she manages the Pennsylvania Water Trail Program. The program includes 26 designated trails totaling over 2,000 miles.
