Update: Drugs and cash seized at CMG clubhouse

Three men have been charged after detectives from Taskforce Maxima executed search warrants on the Gold Coast this morning.

It will be alleged at a Kurilpa Street, Worongary address detectives located approximately five kilograms of cannabis, $46,000 in cash, drug paraphernalia, weapons and criminal gang paraphernalia associated with the Odin Warriors Criminal Motorcycle Gang.

Police will allege the potential value of the drugs located is approximately $45,000.

Police will also allege the premises is being used as a meeting and defacto clubhouse for the Odins Warriors Criminal Motor Cycle Gang.

A 51-year-old Worongary man has been charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of supplying a dangerous drug, possessing a restrict weapon, possessing things used in the commission of a crime and possessing explosives (ammunition). He is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.

A 17-year-old Worongary man has been charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, possessing drug utensils, possessing things used in the commission of a crime and possessing a Category M weapon. He is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on November 20.

A 23-year-old Gold Coast man has been charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, possessing drug utensils and possessing things used in the commission of a crime. He is expected to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court next month.
