A man has died following a two vehicle traffic crash at Lakes Creek this evening.
Initial investigations suggest at around 6pm, a sedan travelling west along Lakes Creek Road, collided head-on with a 4WD travelling east.
A man who was a rear seat passenger of the sedan has died while the driver and front seat passenger sustained serious injuries and were taken to the Rockhampton Base Hospital in a critical condition.
The occupants of the 4WD were taken to the Rockhampton Base Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit will investigate the incident.
