FENTON, MO (KTVI) – Remy and his wife Lauren were married in May 2012.  Soon after Lauren was diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome, developing two huge clots in her arm. Doctors had to remove part of her rib and took three months for her to recover.  Then, another setback, Lauren was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in May.

The couple had been trying to start a family since January of this year. When Lauren found out she was pregnant the couple wanted to do something big to announce the news.  So, they made a viral video.

Remy is the co-host of a local radio morning show on 93.7 “The Bull.”   He is known for making funny videos about current topics.  This time he made a spoof of Matthew McConaughey’s Lincoln car commercial to tell fans of the show and his family that they are expecting a child.

Jimmy and Stephanie of “Capture and Frames” video production company shot video the the couple driving all over St. Louis.  The team captured the family’s reaction when they got the big news.

“There was a lot of happy tears that day.” said Remy.

The couple does not know if will be a boy or girl.  But, they have a list of about 30 names for when the baby is born on or about July 8, 2015.
