August 1st and Saturday, August 2nd at The Box at 7 p.m. Sumi Harada,
a first generation Japanese-American, is not convinced her family’s story
is a treasure worth sharing. The play chronicles the Harada family’s
pioneering struggles in Riverside as told in Mark Rawitsch’s

To get ready for National Night Out (Tuesday, August 5th), the Riverside
Police Department is holding a kick-off event this Saturday, August 2nd
from 9 a.m. to noon at the Target Parking Lot at 3333 Arlington Avenue.
