As we finished giving the very last Christmas gifts out to the orphans of Burma, my heart was overwhelmed with gratitude to you all!

2014 was an epic year of opportunity and incredible miracles that were made possible through your giving!

Here are some highlights and miracles from this December!

Christmas at House Of Hope
The Children enjoyed their favorite Burmese chicken and rice dinner and special Christmas cookies!
Christmas at House Of Hope
After dinner we had a worship service were we celebrated God's gift to us. For many, it was their first Christmas!

Change A Life: The Prison Story
This Christmas, one of our girls had a vision to bring the Gospel to the Women's Prison on our border, where our first rescued girl's mom is currently for drug trafficking, and other children’s mothers in our care have been! Well, because of this 15-year-old girl’s faith, it happened!

Jesus was there in the prison with us. 13 of our rescued teens got to go and give back the gift that changed their life—Jesus!

The girl who had the vision to go there shared her testimony and asked who wanted the same Jesus that changed her life to come and change their hearts and lives and hands went up everywhere! My heart skipped a beat and I was overwhelmingly proud and in awe of it all!

After, the prison leaders let our girls go around to pray for, hug and encourage the women as well as give gifts to each one! The women wanted to talk to my 15 year old and tell her how much the story touched their lives! It was one of the most special days of all of our lives! I asked one prisoner how she felt now after praying and hearing about Jesus... she said, “Free... I feel free!”

Another amazing part to this story is that the girl who's mom is in prison got to see her boldness of her faith in Jesus!

The mom said, “Your grandmother is going to be mad.” (She is Muslim.)

The girl said, “I will fly to Malaysia and tell her why I love this God I serve so much and ask her to love Him too.”

The mom asked, “How in the world are you going to go to Malaysia?”

The girl replied, “My God can do anything, nothing is impossible for Him!”

I need to tell you all that this is coming from the first girl that we got for $24 and that was reason we started the rescue home in the first place! She is a changed girl and now is changing her family!
