Dec. 19, 2014 GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina University Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that 17 student-athletes are eligible to participate in commencement exercises this weekend.
The University Commencement Ceremony was held Friday morning inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum. Many colleges, schools and departments are also holding unit recognition ceremonies on the campus during the weekend.
The most-recent crop of fall graduates represented eight sports. The women's track and field team will have four student-athletes graduate, while the baseball program will see three of its student-athletes walk across the stage. The football, softball and women's tennis teams fielded two graduates each.
The following ECU student-athletes and athletics alumni were bachelor's degree candidates for the December 2014 Commencement:
