it was amazing
bookshelves: horror
Reading for the 2nd time. Most recently started April 25, 2017.

WOW, who knew that The Grim Reaper was just like us. He eats, drinks, has sex, feels sadness at the reaping of children and gets lonely. The lonely part has consequences in this story as he reaps Christine by mistake and instead of reversing it, just lets it stay as is. Christine also known as X takes this quite well considering she is now immortal and has to start reaping.
Grim is constantly at odds with Fate for his actions but so far has survived because he gets the job done.
With friends Darthaniel (Darth) and Amnesia (Ammy) they become The Scooby Gang. I loved this homage to Buffy the Vampire Slayer tv show. Due to a unsuccessful reaping, the gang now has their hands full with trying to fix this before it becomes a total disaster and innocents pay the price.
If you love horror with a splash of humour this book is a must read.
