The 72nd annual Golden Globes nominations were announced Thursday with “Birdman” leading all nominees with seven nods. “Boyhood” and “The Imitation Game” had five each.
Nominees for best picture film include “Boyhood,” “Foxcatcher,” “The Imitation Game,” “Selma” and “The Theory of Everything.”
Several new TV shows received nods in the Best Comedy category, including “Transparent,” The CW’s “Jane the Virgin,” “Silicon Valley” and “Orange Is the New Black.” HBO’s “Girls” was also nominated.
