Your Jirish Girl!
Hi all! It's December and Christmas is GREEN and red, all over the tristate area. Here is the first of several giveaways to come-- this one's for tonight-- sorry for the short notice-- I've had a cold and this is all done by hand! But more will be coming so watch this space.
Tonight, we have "Irish Christmas in America," at the Towne Crier in Beacon. This is always a great event-- I produced an early version about 10 years ago in NJ, with Oisin and Téada... this year's singer is Niamh Farrell. Just look at the line-up below.
And if you haven't been to Beacon, what a time to go! Beacon plays a starring role in the great new sit-com "People of Earth." A hero journalist at a local paper, as well as compassionate aliens!
But even if you don't get beamed up by an alien Beacon is worth the trip to see some great trad tonight!
Can't make it? We also have one CD to give away! What better soundtrack for your roaring fire... snickerdoodles in the oven...

This year's guest singer is Niamh Farrell, an up-and-coming vocalist from County Sligo who came to attention in 2014 during a 10-month world tour with UK star David Gray. She brings to the show a celestial voice and winning stage presence.
