Hello Kitty Café Truck to Dominate San Francisco With Cuteness

Hell(o Kitty) on wheels is rolling into San Francisco on April 11, 12 and 18.

Hello Kitty Café

In case anybody was worried that food trucks are waning in popularity: not only does the world's favorite cartoon character Hello Kitty have a food truck, but it will be rolling into San Francisco in April. The cutesy caravan is part of a promotional tour through California, in anticipation of America's first brick-and-mortar Hello Kitty Café. Set to open in Orange County this summer, the café will be the first of it's kind in the continental United States. (Honolulu already has a Sanrio Cafe).

Unveiled at the Hello Kitty Convention last November, the truck has been roaming the streets of Southern California as a pop-up, generating super long lines in its wake. The impossible-to-miss pink vehicle will appear at the Cherry Blossom Festival in the Bay Area on April 11, 12 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Unsurprisingly, the menu is like, the cutest thing ever. There are Hello Kitty-adorned macarons, petit fours, donuts and even a Hello Kitty bow-shaped water bottle.
