EDINBURG – Bucky the Bronc is competing against New Mexico State's Pistol Pete in the Final Four of the Western Athletic Conference' inaugural #WACky Awards competition, which pits every mascot from around the conference against each other in a three-round bracketed competition.
 
To vote for Bucky, click here and then like the photo of Bucky. Share it with your friends and encourage them to do the same in order to get Bucky into the Championship. Voting closes on Friday at 11 a.m.

Bucky beat Bakersfield's Rowdy the Roadrunner in the Elite 8, the #WACcompete round, 175-110. Each round will feature photos showcasing a different WAC hashtag. This is the #WAClearn round.
  
The final round, which will include the winner of this matchup against the winner of Utah Valley vs. Grand Canyon, runs from Feb. 2-6, will feature photos of #WACinspire.
 
The winning school and mascot will earn the #WACky Award, a trophy that will be presented to the winning mascot at the WAC Basketball Tournament.
