Many years ago I sat, frustrated, in traffic on the way to class. I was impatient, annoyed and angry that I would be late. In the passenger seat was my elderly neighbor who was also attending the lecture. As I looked around wondering if I could drive on the shoulder, she reached her arm out and pointed to a cascading branch that was covered with ice and snow. "Look at the magnificence," she said. "Isn't it just breathtaking?" For a moment, I looked at her like she was crazy. Then, I looked at the branch. It hung before us, the ice crystallized and reflecting; glistening and sparking in the late afternoon sunlight. As I sat there in awe, my attention directed away from the traffic. I learned a very important lesson that day. Often we are so caught up in the mundane activities and responsibilities of life that we do not see the beauty that is right before our very eyes.

Humanity is in the process of change as collectively our consciousness is rising. Together we are seeing life through much different eyes. The Mayans predicted this change for they saw that the world, as we knew it, would end. The Mayans knew once we collectively saw the beauty that our souls would become enlightened.

Technology has advanced humanity and connected us in ways we never thought possible. Our world that once seemed very large and disconnected now feels smaller. Having the ability to connect and converse with people all over the globe has made us realize that we are the same and are really one big family. No matter where you call home, no matter what language you speak, no matter what your traditions and customs, we all share the same love in our hearts. This love we all share with the planet.

When you experience the Earth's beauty, it becomes part of your consciousness; for you are in harmony with the Earth. You radiate that energy wherever you go. Radiance is contagious. Thus, you will uplift those around you. The Mayans knew at this precise time in history, humanity would evolve as people came to appreciate all there is.

We have a great opportunity to come together in unison to focus our positive thoughts for Mother Earth and Humanity. On Earth Day, Tuesday April 22nd, the world is invited to join together in meditation for our planet. The Master Shift has written and produced a free online meditation narrated by Julian Lennon. Based on the idea that quantum meditation can effect change, the purpose of the meditation is to bring the world together as one meditating force for universal upliftment. The meditation is not religious, but does recognize a "higher power." It is positive and designed to be a fun experience that all can do at the exact same time. All that is required is for you to sit and listen. Please visit www.themastershift.com for details about the upcoming event or like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram for the latest up-to-date information.

We are in the process of change and it's a very exciting time to be alive. Together we can create a new fabric of reality. Together we are The Master Shift.
