OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 26, 2014) – One benefit of having the Bobby Murcer Indoor Training Facility at Oklahoma Christian is that there doesn't have to be a winter break for baseball players, and OC coaches are taking advantage of that.

The OC program, led by coach Lonny Cobble, will offer a pair of three-day winter baseball camps next month. The first camp will run from Dec. 22-24 and the second camp will run from Dec. 29-31. The camps will last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and will be limited to 30 players each. The cost will be $150 for one camp or $250 for both camps.

OC coaches also are leading one-day "Advanced Player Camps" for players from ninth through 12th grades who are seeking advanced hitting skills and/or improved throwing and pitching mechanics. The dates of those camps will be Dec. 26-27 and Jan. 2-3, with hitting scheduled from 10 a.m.-noon and pitching from 1-3 p.m. Each camp date will be limited to 24 players and will cost $95.

Outside teams also are able to rent OC's indoor facility on Fridays and Saturdays. Each rental will be one batting cage for $30, two batting cages for $50 or the entire facility for $100. If OC has a home baseball game, the facility will not be available for team rental.
