(Kenosha, Wis.) - Cooper Witt and Chris Pynenberg highlighted performances by the Carroll University track and field team at the Carthage College Invitational. Witt won the 200 meter dash while Pynenberg claimed first place in the 5,000 meter run.

Carroll's men finished sixth in the 8-team field while the Pioneer women were 5^th-of-8.

Clare Swietlik and Alissa Elwing recorded the best finishes for the CU women. Swietlik was second in the 5,000 meter run while Elwing recorded a pair of runner finishes in the 200 meter and 400 meter dashes.
