Woman charged over wounding, Coomera

Police have charged a woman in relation to the alleged stabbing of a 35-year-old man at Coomera on Friday night October 24, 2014

It is alleged around 10.30pm a man suffered a number of puncture wounds to his abdominal region at an address in Chormata Lane.

He was treated at the scene and was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life threatening minor injuries.

A 19-year-old woman from Loganlea has been charged with wounding and is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow, Monday October 27, 2014.
