Disunited states of Europe: Satirical maps which show the continent divided by coffee drinking, love of potatoes, beer and weather

It is often said that Europe is a continent of many parts, divided on itself by all manner of factors and situations – politics, money, geography, language and religion among them.

But how would the world’s second smallest continent look if it were split up by rather more intriguing issues – such as which regions prefer wine to vodka (and which bits are happy with a tankard of real ale), and which areas serve inspiring food rather than bland grub?

A series of satirical maps have been released by Movehub – a website which helps people move abroad, and offers advice to would-be ex-pats seeking somewhere new to live.
