Those of you who frequent our Danvers location know all about the amazing Kirstin, her awesome classes, and her famous playlists!
Kirstin first stepped into barre n9ne
?
as a client in June of 2010- just three short months after we opened. Long and lean legs was her first class actually! I can't believe she came back for a second class (kidding!)
I was so grateful when Kirstin decided to become a barre n9ne? instructor! For the past three years I have gotten the privilege to work with this amazing woman who I continuously learn something new from. Kirstin has been a role model for me for as long as I can remember. She is an amazing mother to her children, one of the smartest people I have ever met :) a hard worker and a loyal friend- oh and after two kids she still has abs of steel!
In October Kirstin and her husband will be running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon for the second time!. She and her family created the Dr. Thomas N. Pesola Memorial Scholarship fund after her dad passed away in 2009 at the age of 59. He
was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes his freshman year of high school.
This cause became dearer to their hearts after their son, Owen, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in December of 2013. Type 1 diabetes has no known cause or cure, and it is not an easy disease to have, especially for a child.
Kirstin is excited to teach SIX special classes at our Danvers location to raise money for both the Joslin Clinic and the Dr. Thomas N. Pesola Memorial Scholarship fund in hopes of reaching their goal before the marathon!
The cost to attend will be a minimum donation of $20. Of course we would love if you donated even if you cannot attend. Every little bit helps.
This year donations will carry even more of a punch. Kirstin and Brendan are fundraising for the Joslin Clinic which treated Kirstin's dad when he was young and is the parent clinic for the camps. Because her dad's scholarship is so personal to her, Brendan and Kirstin are donating 50 cents to the scholarship fund for every $1 people give to their Joslin campaign!! How amazing is that!!!
Below you will find information on how to sign up for one or all of the fundraiser classes and/or how to donate!
Class credits cannot be utilized to register.
Thank you again for being such a supportive community!
