"Eros Erased, Eros Collaged":

an erotica poetry workshop & performance @ the Art/Center South Florida

Reading Queer invites you to come out for “Eros Erased, Eros Collaged”, a mad-cap, dress-up collage and erasure poetry workshop & performance at the Richard Shack Gallery of the Art/Center South Florida on Friday, April 25th, promptly at 8:00pm. “Eros Erased, Eros Collaged” is an official stop for the first-ever LitCrawl Miami. Come dressed as your favorite erotica icon, drag king or queen or simply come dressed as yourself.

Using vintage queer erotica, Neil de la Flor (RQ Executive Director) and José Villar-Portela (RQ Program Director) will lead a free-form(less) generative workshop on erasure & collage writing techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to produce their own visual poems using found erotic texts and arts-&-crafts supplied by the Art/Center & Reading Queer. The workshop will culminate with a spontaneous orchestral group reading lead by a conductor (TBA).

Join us for "Eros Erases, Eros Collaged". Festivities begin promptly at 8pm on Friday, April 25th at the ArtCenter/South Florida. 800 Lincoln Road. Miami Beach, FL 33139. Come dressed queerly. Free & open to the public. RSVP @ the general LitCrawl event page here or RSVP here.

See you soon,

Neil de la Flor, Executive Director
