Sydney’s Latin American Film Festival is preparing for its 9th edition and is inviting local filmmakers to contribute short films or documentaries (no longer than 30 minutes) to the Festival, scheduled to take place in September 2014.
As part of an extensive film program of international features, documentaries and shorts, the Festival is also committed to featuring Australian and Latin American filmmakers living in Australia and creating a space for the exhibition and celebration of films that relate to Latin America or to Latin American communities here in Australia.
Submissions can be made until Friday 16th May 2014 by sending your films to:

SLAFF's Annual General Meeting
The Sydney Latin American Film Festival will hold its Annual General meeting on Tuesday 27th May at 6.30pm. We encourage and welcome new members to attend the AGM, join the Festival and contribute to its growth.
The AGM will be held at The Addison Road Community Centre, 142 Addison Road, Marrickville NSW 2204.

Over the years, the Festival has been fortunate to attract a wide range of people from all walks of life who have contributed their endless energy, amazing abilities, knowledge and passion to build a significant event in Sydney's cultural calendar.
Now in its 9th edition, the Festival is calling for dedicated people to join the crew. The roles are volunteer-based and vary in workload per week. They include: Marketing Assistant, Media/Marketing Intern, E-newsletter Copywriter and Volunteer Coordinator.
