ON THE PITCH
Midwestern State closes the regular season Friday night against Angelo State at the MSU Soccer Field. Kickoff for the Senior Night tilt is set for 7 p.m.

SCOUTING THE RAMBELLES
- Angelo State rebounded from a three-game skid -- all on the road -- with a pair home wins over Eastern New Mexico (2-1) and West Texas A&M (3-0).
- The Rambelles are 1-3 in road games this season and have suffered shutouts in each of their last three matches away from the ASU Soccer Field falling to Eastern New Mexico (2-0), Texas Woman's (3-0) and Texas A&M-Commerce (1-0).
- Angelo State can clinch hosting rights for the LSC Postseason Tournament for the second straight year with a win over Midwestern State and if West Texas A&M beats Texas A&M-Commerce and Texas Woman's beats Eastern New Mexico Friday night. The 'Belles would finish with 19 points and would be hoping neither ENMU nor A&M-C sweeps weekend play.
- Junior forward/midfielder Sierra Anderson leads the Rams with 10 goals this season and has three goals in her last two matches including one against Eastern New Mexico and two versus West Texas A&M.
- Sophomore midfielder Haley Mandel boasts seven goals and five assists for the Rambelles but has not tallied a goal since Sept. 19 against Oklahoma Christian -- a span of 11 matches.
- Fifteen different players have scored goals for ASU this season.
- Junior goalkeeper Shantel Wittke leads the LSC with eight shutouts this season while posting a 0.72 goals against average with a .846 save percentage.

ABOUT THE SERIES
- Midwestern State meets Angelo State for the 29th time on the pitch Friday night at the MSU Soccer Field.
- The Mustangs holds a 14-7-7 advantage in the series which dates back to the 1995 season.

MUSTANGS NOTEBOOK
- Midwestern State split a pair of Lone Star Conference matches on its home field taking a 2-1 win over West Texas A&M on Friday before falling 1-0 to Eastern New Mexico on Sunday.
- It was the third consecutive weekend the Mustangs split LSC games.
- MSU holds a slim one-point lead over Texas Woman's for the fourth and final berth into next weekend's LSC Postseason Tournament.
- The Mustangs would advance to the LSC Postseason Tournament for the 19th consecutive year with a win over Angelo State and if Texas Woman's fails to amass four points meaning the Pioneers can take a win and a loss or two draws. In the event of a tie, the Pioneers advance over MSU on the strength of a win and a tie with the Mustangs.
- MSU can also advance in a tie at 12 points with West Texas A&M if TWU loses twice and ENMU beats Texas A&M-Commerce on Sunday.
- Junior Callie Briseno (Amarillo, Texas / Amarillo HS) notched her third goal in as many matches by knocking in a deflection off the foot of Morgan Hannon (Midland, Texas / Midland HS) in MSU's 2-1 win over West Texas A&M Friday night. Briseno tallied two goals against Texas A&M-Commerce a week before in a 2-1 win over the Lions.
- Freshman forward Destinee Williamson (Bedford, Texas / Trinity HS) knocked in her eighth goal of the season Friday night against West Texas A&M.
- Midfielder Katy Catney (Wichita Falls, Texas / Rider HS) will be honored prior to MSU's regular season finale against Angelo State as the Mustangs' lone senior.

THE CLARKE ERA BEGINS
