  1. Thank you for this very compelling study. I am a Walden University PhD candidate, my study is on the efficacy of religious and character development curricula as a way to mitigate academic deficits in less privileged student populations. Your article cuts to the core of what I’d like to research. As, here in Santa Cruz, CA, I’m having a problem finding a school to visit and perhaps research. I attempted to visit an Islamic charter school in nearby San Jose, but they did not respond in kind to my efforts to communicate and to visit. Any suggestions, I’m ready to travel to make this happen? I’m encouraged, your insights support my own thinking around the ways, spiritual and moral development, impact civic and cognitive development. Thank for your good work and for letting me share my thoughts. I intend to stay in touch!
