Webinar! Share Your Story:

Beyond the Diagnosis

TOMORROW, Tuesday, June 27th 1-2PM EST!

We are welcoming individuals with mental illnesses, loved ones, and providers to share their stories about community participation using the StoryCorps app. We want to hear about what you do in your community and how it benefits you; the love, laughter and joy.

Want to know how you can participate?
In this webinar, we will discuss how to use the StoryCorps app and ways to prepare storytellers to share their experiences with community participation. This will include suggestions for storytelling group programs and opportunities to practice telling stories which highlight the person not the patient.

Our Director, Dr. Mark Salzer, has shared his story on the importance of community participation! You can listen to it here!

During the 2017 Summer Institute on Community Inclusion we will provide equipment, space and assistance for opportunities to record stories for the StoryCorps library.

Our one-page information sheet will help guide consumers and providers on the use of the storycorp app.

Join us July 24th & 25th!
