The Free Spirits Ensemble's presentation of Folk Tunes Revisited - classic folk tunes in new forms - on Friday at 7:30 p.m. will bring to a close October's four-part Classical Series sponsored by the Renaissance Centre and Wake Forest ARTS. The Free Spirits Ensemble kicked off the classical music series on Oct. 5 with 'Close to Home.'
Friday night's performance will feature arrangements by Nofinofo and Lind plus several works by Copland.
Advance tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $8 for students and can be purchased online and at the Renaissance Centre box office. Box office hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m.
The Renaissance Centre and Forest Moon Theater are pleased to welcome improvisational theater to Wake Forest on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. with a fun-filled performance by the professional performing group, Transactors Improv Co.
Just in time for Halloween, It's Funny to be Scared is a family-friendly show that entertains audiences with the unpredictable humor that only improvisational theater can bring. Don't miss this arrival of improv in Wake Forest that includes games made up on the spot based on suggestions from the audience.
