Police are investigating an armed robbery of a pharmacy on Turton Street, Sunnybank this evening.
Around 6.15pm a man armed with a knife entered the business and made demands to a staff member for money. The staff member complied and the offender then left the store with a sum of money and fled on foot.
The man is described as approximately 177cm tall, of proportionate build with olive skin and aged in their late teens to early twenties.
He was last seen wearing a dark colour zip-up hoodie with white stripes down the sleeves and black track pants.
No one was physically injured during the incident and investigations are continuing.
