Legs for Chandler

Can you believe this adorable face was just hours from being put to sleep at a high-kill shelter?

Labeled "The Parapalegic Chihuahua", 5 pound, 3-yr-old Chandler was found as a stray and given a week to be adopted before the shelter would ultimately end his life by euthanasia. Once we found out about him (and *just* in time)- there was no way we would let them decide his fate!

Chandler is a true trooper - dragging his hind legs in order to get around or "walk". He loves to be loved and cuddled. Now that he is OUT of that shelter - the mission to give him legs begins! Through several veterinarian/neurologist visits, therapy sessions, lots of travel, attention, and possible surgeries - we will find out whether Chandler will be able to make any use of his hind legs or if he will be needing a new custom set of wheels :) 

Any donations that go above what is needed for him will go Chandler's rescue group for other special  need pets.
