Serious traffic crash, Doonan

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a two vehicle crash which has left an elderly woman in a critical condition at Doonan yesterday afternoon.

Initial information suggests the two cars collided on Noosa-Eumundi Road at around 2:40pm.

An 83-year-old local woman, who was the driver and sole occupant of one car was transported to Nambour Hospital and remains in a critical condition.

The occupants of a second car, a 38-year-old male driver and a 43-year-old woman both from Cooroy were transported to Nambour Hospital with minor injuries.

Police Investigations are continuing.
