Ink Edwards Talks First Performance, Relationship w/ Toolz, The Headies & More

Ink Edwards was put in the spotlight recently as he talked about his rise to fame. The rookie whose song Give Am was the most downloaded tune in a review done by Vanguard Newspaper recently shared some details with us.

The versatile artist spoke on his first ever performance and gave some pictures for it, he said “I was 17 at that time, it was Kennis music Easter Fiesta 2011, the crowd was hyper, I knew I was made for this music.”

He also shed more light on his relationship with Toolz, MI and how he won The Headies’ Rookie of the year 2013 , “Toolz told me about it and thought I should try it out which I did and also won”, he also added “Toolz took my music to M.I and he has been amazing to me, If not for Toolz there won’t have been M.I in this conversation.”

Ink Edwards also performed his hit single, Baddest with M.I Abaga at DJ Jimmy Jatt’s recently concluded Jimmy’s Jump off which left the crowd begging for more.
