Ready, Set, Done: Ten minutes to perfection?

Our weekly free-write is back: take ten minutes — no pauses! — to write about anything, unfiltered and unedited. You can then publish the post as-is, or edit a bit first — your call.

If I had all the time in the world,
If I had not a single deadline,
If I had all night  and day
To sleep, to think, to ruminate.

Nothing, and I mean,  absolutely nothing,
Would be perfect as it is, as it was, as it could be.
There’d always be room,
For improvement, for correction, for addition.
So when you tell me,
I have just ten minutes to let it flow,
free hand or type hand,
I can but respond thus:
“I could always do better without being bitter,
but this is good enough.
For you…
And for me too…”
