One of the bigger topics of discussion other than Peyton Manning since the Rams have moved to Los Angeles have been their uniforms. Will they stick with what they have or will they go back to the blue and yellow “Ferragamo’s” or will they go back to the fearsome foursome blue and white?

The Rams’ uniform became a big topic Wednesday on The Dan Patrick Show hosted by Ross Tucker. Dave Dameshek of the NFL Network called in and gave his thoughts on the uniform situation and whats he thinks the Rams should do.

Ross Tucker: What era, I know you’ve given this great thought, I know you volunteered to be the uniform consultant for the Rams. What uniform should they wear?

Dave Dameshek: Yes, please. Kevin Demhoff and the rest of the Rams organization. I dont know what this little game you’re playing with me and yourself is, but let me tell you something, I dont appreciate it, and Los Angeles needs to get this uniform right. We’re only going to have one shot at this guys so let’s do it properly. I’ve reached out to you and I await word. Listen, I’m down to, you either go Fearsome Foursome, and the key detail there is, much like the Dallas Cowboys and a few other teams like to wear their white jerseys at home, the LA Rams of that era also went all white. So if you go all white, they rarely wore the royal blue jerseys at home; Deacon Jones and Merlin Olson and company. If you do that you go all white at home. That looks very nice and that will look striking on Todd Gurley and that great defense. On the other hand, you could go 70’s era with the grey facemasks and the blue and gold…

RT: I love how you talk about the facemask color.

DD: I talked to Chris Long about this and he understands what Im talking about because he also understands ascetics Tucker. The key detail, look at it, look at the LA Rams after they put on the bavy blue facemasks…

RT: So, which one? Shek, which one?

DD: Im telling you! I-If it’s up to me, they would go gold pants and blue jersey’s, but flat.

RT: Ok, you want the Ferragamo’s. You want the Ferragamo’s

DD: Ferragamo’s, but the key is Tucker. I can’t stress this enough. No shiny stuff with the pants. I dont like that look. That’s weird.

More from Ramblin' Fan

It looks like going back to the 70’s and 80’s Rams look is one of the more popular opinions between experts and fans. While the blue and white would be awesome, to have that as the throwback might be the better choice.

Since the Rams left LA, the uniforms have been on the decline. Hopefully with the move and excuse to go a full overhaul, the Rams do good and get the uniforms right.
