Armed Robbery charges, Yeppoon

Police have charged a man after an alleged armed robbery at a service station on Rockhampton Road in Yeppoon.

It is alleged that around 8.45pm yesterday a man entered the store armed with a knife and demanded money from the male attendant. The man fled the store with a sum of cash.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

A 21-year-old Yeppoon man has been charged with enter premises with intent and armed robbery. He is due to appear in the Yeppoon Magistrates Court on December 11.
