Welcome to our inaugural newsletter - Check In!

2014 has been an exciting and busy year for Inviato. Since my first blog post from Tuscany in 2009, my goal for Inviato was to be a go-to source for travel inspiration - a place for introducing and sharing unique places through candid and authentic reviews with like-minded wanderlust travelers. Now, five years and 131 hotel reviews later (with gratitude also to our contributing guest reviewers!), I am thrilled to see watch this little luxury travel blog blossom.

In the past 9 months alone, we have published over 24 posts of incredible places in locales such as Hawaii, Japan, California, Colorado, Wyoming to London, Paris, Spain to good ole Tennessee and Kentucky...and we aren't done yet for the year! We have a new co-editor Christina Meza who joined early in the year and who has been a godsend (its a thankless job traveling the world checking out and reviewing incredible hotels!). We have given the site a facelift with a more visual design and easier navigation alongside new content features such as Inside Look,Spotlight On and Postcard From: series alongside our more detailed regular Checked Out reviews.

Most importantly, I am beyond excited about our new affiliation with Classic Travel (read below) as it allows readers to instantly book vetted hotels while getting the best rates and VIP privileges (yes, equal if not better than Amex Platinum Card Travel)!
