Story
On October 11th, I ran to and climbing up the floors of 3 building in London including The Gherkin (591ft), Salesforce Tower (992ft) and 200 Aldersgate (185ft) then abseiled down.
I came 26th and first in my group! WHAT!!
I am unbelievable overwhelmed by the amount made! Thank you so much to everyone who donated.
In 2013 I ran race for life. My reason back then was because my mum was given the all clear. Now the challenge she is facing is harder, so I decided to challenge myself harder.
After another diagnosis, my mum was the last person selected for a trial. If she had been a day later, she wouldn't have got on it. This inspired me to raise money for more trials to provide more people with the chance to fight and help fund whatever happens next on our journey.
I paid £75 to take part in this event, but I would only have been accepted if I had raised £600 total. That was a lot to ask, but because of the kindness and generosity of everyone I raised enough, and more! Unbelievable overwhelmed. Thanks to you, my mum and others are still with us!
I know me and my family aren't the only ones going through this, so I'm also doing this to help others going through it too to help keep them fighting.
Love you ma' x x x
