In the post, the former Olympian wrote about India Clarke and K.C. Haggard, two transgender women who were murdered last week.
"11 trans women have been killed in the United States in the past six months – most of them trans women of color," Jenner wrote.
"My condolences to those who loved India, K.C., and all of the other victims," she continued. "No one should be killed simply because they are transgender.
Haggard, 66, was stabbed to death in Fresno, California, on July 23. The Advocate reports that police are investigating her death as a homicide, but Karen Adell Scot of TransCare told KFSN that "it was a hate crime."
Clarke, 25, was found dead near a playground in Florida on July 21, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox shared a pic of Clarke on Instagram, writing, "She was only 25 years old and clearly into all things beauty hair and makeup just like me. I can't help but feel like I'm next. That's why I do the work I do because the avg. life expectancy for someone like me is only 35 years old."
