Listen & Learn

Keeping you on the cutting edge of performance

As you may already know, I am beginning a new segment in addition to the weekly podcasts, I’ve named, “Listen and Learn”.  The idea is to offer periodic educational tips that are important to all of us.  After having produced nearly 200 episodes, it’s clear to me that the majority of our followers want to learn how to stay healthy and injury free while performing optimally.

I have a great line up scheduled on topics related to lower extremity injuries such as ankle sprains, shin splints, calf stains and knee problems. We'll discuss how to self-treat and exercises to prevent these maladies.  I also have plans to reveal some cutting edge training tools and discuss how “power” will be the new frontier in running, much like it has taken cycling by storm.  I have access to some innovations that will blow your mind and will interview the experts in the field along with some of the world’s best athletes and coaches who are beginning to pay attention to this technology. Of course, I will always discuss and share tips on integrating heart rate into your training as well.

I also have plans to feature a few of the best trail runners in the world to talk technique, running downhill and training ideas for technical terrain.

Make sure you check out the site a few times each week, catch up on some of the recent and achieved episodes. The Natural Running Network will soon become the go-to source for training and racing knowledge for running, obstacle racing, triathlon and Ultra’s we hope to serve all of these topics because they are all related to great running skills!
