ALL CHURCH MEETING RECAP

Our All Church Meeting happened last Sunday August 27th and we had a fantastic turn out! Food, refreshments and childcare were provided. At the meeting we discussed all things OneLife, including discussion of our vision, our new budget, updates on the KidsLife Position, the Dinner Church Launch, acknowledging our newest members, a fantastic time of open sharing, as well a time of corporate prayer! Two big things that came up at the meeting to celebrate were with KidsLife and the Dinner Church...
KIDSLIFE CO-LEAD DIRECTORS ANNOUNCEMENT

We are so excited to let you all know that we have officially hired Erin Phillips and Christel Peterson as our NEW KidsLife Co-Lead Directors starting September 1st! Christel & Erin bring an incredible wealth of experience, professional training working with kids and families, have served in our KidsLife ministry for many years, and have a huge passion for the ministry and the vision of the church. Please keep them both in your prayers as they step into this new role - that God would continue to lead them and bless them as they take the lead over one of our strongest ministries here at OneLife! We are so thankful for this answer to prayer!
KIDSLIFE FALL HELP
- With Erin and Christel taking on their new role we want to help them get off to a great start. With that
Our KidsLife ministry is currently looking for volunteers for the fall. We could use teachers, assistants, and substitutes to help make our Sunday morning KidsLife programs amazing. The time commitment is easy and the impact is HUGE. If you are interested please note that on your connection card or send an email HERE letting us know. We also will have a KidsLife Volunteer Sign Up table set up this Sunday to stop by as well. Thanks in advance for your prayerful consideration of serving in this ministry!
OUR DINNER CHURCH SOFT L
AUNCH RECAP -
We had our Dinner Church 'soft launch' on Monday from 5pm to 6:30pm and it was incredible. The food was fantastic, the music was lovely, the atmosphere was beautiful and the Dinner Church team did an excellent job of prepping, setting up, serving, and cleaning up. We had about 40 people in attendance and during it we took some time to pray for the Dinner Church, the community, and the Dinner Church team.
WE CAN'T WAIT FOR THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH ON MONDAY SEPTEMBER 11TH!

THE MIX BACK TO SCHOOL BASH - Summer is almost over and school is just around the corner, so we have our back to school kick off on Wednesday, September 6th at OneLife Community Church from 7-9pm. But we believe in having lots of fun! So on Friday September 15th at OneLife Community Church
from 7 to 9pm we will also be having a BBQ with water balloon games! Bring friends to both and come ready to get soaked! For more information contact our Youth Director Ben Hurst.

- Starting this Sunday we will launch our brand new fall 2017 sermon series in the book of 2 Corinthians! This book is PACKED with goodness that you don't want to miss. Start reading it now, invite a friend, and join us this Sunday at 10am for it's launch.

UTORING CHANGES LIVES -
Tutors from the community, not just our
church, are invited to help with homework for K-5th grade students on Thursday nights starting in September. Dinner is 6pm; tutoring starts at 6:30. OneLife Tutoring is starting its 6th year & we have students on our Wait List. Orientation and training will be on Thursday, September 7. As you read this, take a moment and think of a friend, coworker, neighbor, grandparent, high school or college student, someone who might be interested & please ask them because need more tutors! ONELIFE TUTORING SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES
- Do you know someone that doesn't want to tutor, but would like to volunteer for an hour? We need Van Drivers, Van Assistants, Science Presenters and Kitchen Helpers! Could you drive a van? Or help cut up fruit or veggies at 5:15, & serve a 6pm dinner? Or wash dishes at 6:30pm? Present a 15 minute science experiment at 7:45pm? Or go with the van driver as an assistant & walk students to & from their doors at 5pm &/or 8pm? Can you or do you know someone that would like to volunteer & just do one of these roles? COFFEE & CONVERSATIONS

Once a month after our Sunday service we make space to connect new people with one or more of our Staff & Elder Board. This happens on the 4th Sunday of every month. For the month of August we will not be doing this as it falls on the same Sunday as our All Church Meeting. Feel free to come to that to learn more about OneLife.
