PetMedella - Pet Wellness

"PetMedella - Your Pet's Health in Focus"
(C) Allen Pearson
BARKS! Are you interested in holistic care for your pet?  Using herbal remedies, homeopathic remedies, and nutritional supplements, you could help your pet to better health.

WOOFs!  I found the most pawsome Pet Wellness website to share with you, PetMedella! Using hair or nail clippings, and saliva samples from your pet, you can learn remedies to assist in your pets care.

My human caught me not paying attention or half asleep, took a saliva sample from my mouth using this overgrown Q-Tip.  Then, he gathered quite a handful of my hair.  He placed these in a bag supplied by PetMedella and mailed it to them.

While waiting for the results from PetMedella, he set us up an account on their website.  Once set up, you complete a questionnaire about your pet.  As you fill out the online form about your pet, be careful to note all medications and vitamins you are giving your pet for anything and everything.  Leaving off anything will effect the end result of the test as well as the vitamins recommended by PetMedella.

PetMedella receives the samples and runs a series of tests.  These tests help to identify any chronic issues while no stranger or no veterinarian touches some pet- which can cause stress or nervousness.

Usually, within 7 business days, PetMedella sends you an email with the results of your screening.  Log onto the account you created on PetMedella to get the results which will look something like this report but specifically about you.

Barkingly, if something is discovered seriously wrong with your pet, PetMedella will contact you along with sending the report by email.

At the end of the report will be a list of remedies which can be used to treat your pet.  These remedies are considered along with the current medications your pet is taking.

Always and always and, yes, always, consult with your pet's veterinarian before administering any new treatment.
