Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College field hockey team defeated Stockton University this afternoon at the Athletic Center 2-1. The Roadrunners wrap up the 2015 season with a 2-14 overall record, 1-5 in the NJAC while the Ospreys stand at 3-12 overall, 0-5 in the conference.
Leah Davies put the Ospreys on the board in the first half in the 31st minute (30:02) off a pass from Laura Olbrich to take a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, sophomore
Gianna Mouskourie scored her second goal of the season for the Roadrunners to tie the game 1-1 in the 48th minute (47:06) of the game. Ramapo was awarded a penalty corner and in the 67th (66:57) minute junior
Nicole Healy scored her team leading sixth goal of the season to propel the Roadrunners in the 2-1 victory.
Stockton held a slight advantage in shots in the game 16-13 including 13-12 on goal. The Ospreys also recorded 14 corners to the Roadrunners 12.
Emily Wisneski tallied 12 saves in the win for Ramapo.
