it really is that simple

Monday e-devotion

4,569 to the 8th power divided by X over 62 … Ok, that is not an equation, but it is an example of something I cannot deal with.  It is hard.  It is not something I can answer, but I prove a point.

Sometimes answers really are simple.  We don’t like simple answers, but they confound us or make us stop doing the things we think are that important.  I am not a thinker or very deeper.  I love theology, but I struggle with debate, with the study of end times and a lot more.  But when it comes to the simple, I am still overwhelmed.

The simple and true answer is this: TRUST JESUS.  With all the problems that are going on around the world, trust Jesus.  Seeing all the pain that is caused and thrown around, trust Jesus.  Why are things so confusing or so tough?  I don’t know, but we can trust Jesus.

The answer is trust Jesus.  When times are tough or you don’t know what to do, trust Jesus.  How are we to get through all of the stuff we have to do?  We trust Jesus.

Yesterday I heard a profound message with many good points.  The one that stuck in my brain sine the message was this one.  We must and will continue and need always… trust Jesus.

Proverbs 3:5  NLT
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.

2 Corinthians 3:4  NLT
We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ.

Titus 3:8  NLT
This is a trustworthy saying, and I want you to insist on these teachings so that all who trust in God will devote themselves to doing good. These teachings are good and beneficial for everyone.

Trust Jesus.  It really is that simple!

People I am praying for:
Pray for Ricky Foster as he is having surgery on his neck this morning.  Pray for Allyson Foley and her family as her grandmother passed away early Sunday morning.  Pray for the family and friends of Gary Hodges who passed away last week.  Pray for Robin Turner as she has surgery this morning.
