We, the undersigned citizens of the State of Alabama are fed up with unelected and unaccountable federal judges and Alabama bureaucrats reversing the overwhelming outcomes of Alabama voters and elections. They have purported to redefine marriage, in spite of the fact that 81% of voters approved our Sanctity of Marriage Amendment defining marriage as “one man and one woman,” and they have effectively ousted Chief Justice Roy Moore from the bench again -- this time for defending marriage.

In accordance with our First Amendment right to petition the government for the redress of grievances:

1. We call upon the Alabama Supreme Court to reverse the Court of the Judiciary’s (COJ) illegal and unwarranted removal of Chief Justice Moore from the bench, even though the COJ lacked the 9 votes to remove him. The COJ ignored ethics and has merely done the bidding of the radicals of the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Human Rights Campaign, who despise the law of nature and nature’s God, the Constitution, and any judge who dares to defend them.

2. We call upon Supreme Court Justices Lyn Stuart, Michael Bolin, and Greg Shaw (and any additional justices and former justices who the impartial observer would find prejudiced) on the Alabama Supreme Court to recuse yourselves from any part of Chief Justice Moore’s appeal, including the selection of your replacements, as Chief Justice Moore has reasonably requested. You have each demonstrated bias and enmity against Chief Justice Moore and his case, ethically disqualifying yourself from fairly hearing his arguments or from even properly administrating his appeal. Step down and do no more harm to this State.

3. We call upon the remaining and replacement Justices of the Alabama Supreme Court to honor the appeals process and retract the absurd threats from Justice Stuart demanding Chief Justice Moore clean out his office and surrender his keys. Further, his staff members who were fired by Justices Stuart and Bolin and forced to clean out their offices with armed court officers standing guard, should be immediately restored to their positions in Chief Justice Moore’s office.

4. We call upon the Alabama Republican Party to continue to defend true conservatives like Chief Justice Moore and to withdraw future support for cowardly RINOs like Chief Judge of the COJ Michael Joiner, the “executioner” for the anti-marriage Moore-haters. Further, we call on the Party to bar Judge Joiner and any other “Republican” justices who continue to work against lawful defense of the party platform and Chief Justice Moore from any future election.

5. Finally, we call upon the Alabama Legislature to rid our judiciary of the experimental COJ and Judicial Inquiry Commission -- two out-of-control panels of unelected political appointees who persecute good men like Chief Justice Moore but give mere 6-month suspensions to perverted sexting judges. The COJ and JIC are a 35-year-old bad idea run amok, and the people should be able to correct the error and return impeachment power back to elected officials.

We call upon all elected and unelected officials to correct the outrageous miscarriage of justice in the case of the Honorable Roy S. Moore. We demand real and immediate action be taken to reverse the wrongs done to him, to the rule of law, and to a fair process, and so prevent future persecution of those who “do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with [their] God.” Micah 6:8.
