Our beef ground beef is made from dry aged cuts and is perfect for making many delicious foods such as hamburgers, stuffed peppers (see our stuffed pepper recipe below), chili, and sloppy Joes.
Stuffed Green Pepper Recipe:
4 large green peppers
1 lb. of Roseda ground beef
1/3 cup of chopped onions
one 7 oz. can of tomato sauce
1 cup of cheddar cheese to sprinkle on top
1 cup of minute rice
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/2 cup of Velveeta cheese
1. Halve the peppers lengthwise, remove stem ends, seeds, and membranes.
2. Immerse peppers into boiling water for 3 minutes. Then, sprinkle the insides with salt. Invert on paper towels to drain well.
3. In a skillet cook meat and onion till meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain fat.
4. Stir in tomato sauce, uncooked rice, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, 1/2 cup of water, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil and then stir in Velveeta cheese.
5. Cover and simmer for 15-18 minutes or till rice is tender.
6. Fill peppers with meat mixture and sprinkle the top with cheddar cheese.
7. Place in a 9 x 13 in baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees in oven for 15 minutes or until heated through. Enjoy!
