Outlook for 2017
Every year we plan to make the garden look great, have an attractive, well-functioning pond, sound garden infrastructure and sufficient tools, as well as a number of events. We work hard to communicate with our members and volunteers as well as the public and press. All of this requires people who can taken on one or more of these tasks. Although the garden looks great most of the time, and we manage to put on flea markets, art exhibit, and music performances, potluck dinners, a holiday party among others, we do all the above, often with barely enough volunteers. But this doesn't need to be this way. We have so many members that if each one did just one thing in 2017, the garden would look even better, we would have more events, and there would be more community involvement. As always we can provide orientation and instruction for any activity be it in the garden or in support of it. And there may be new ideas that we've never done before that would enhance RING. Maybe an annual members party at the garden? Other events? Better outreach to the public? Please let us know your ideas and how you could help - contact Maggie
I hope each one of our RING members can resolve to volunteer in 2017. Please let us know how we can help you to be part of the RING community.
