Lace up for a worldwide running event in June

Running is always more fun in a group.

During the month of June, one special day is set aside where runners throughout our community and around the planet will simultaneously hit the pavement.

Another fun run/walk event coming up in June is the Powered with Pride 5K, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on June 11 in Cherokee Park at Hogan’s Fountain Pavilion. The family-friendly event includes the Comfy Cow Chase Kid’s Fun Run for children ages 12 and under.

Starting at 10 a.m., the Chase is a safe and fun “dash in the grass” in partnership with Comfy Cow. Get more information at poweredwithpride.com.
