Published with the Queens Museum and the New New Yorkers Program:

In the spring of 2008, Nicolás Dumit Estévez Raful taught a series of Art in Everyday Life Workshops at the Queens Museum and at the Elmhurst and Steinway branches of the Queens Public Library, through which participants undertook careful observations, discussions, and critiques of overtly mundane activities such as: walking, talking, sleeping, shopping, and eating.  The writings, photographs, as well as other documents generated as result of the classes were then formatted into an interactive publication comprising evidence of the private and public actions that the participants created, as well interviews and suggested guidelines for performing one’s day-to-day. This publication was dedicated to performance art pioneer Linda Mary Montano.
