Congratulations to Poetry Society Member Sarah Wimbush (Leeds), winner of this year’s Red Shed Poetry Competition with her poem ‘Things My Mother Told Me’. In second place was Poetry Society Member Maria Isakova Bennett (Liverpool) with ‘I hop you are well’.
Among the Commended poets were Poetry Society Members Genevieve Carver (Sheffield) and Jo Peters (Otley).
The competition was judged by John Foggin.
