Highway patrol troopers seized about $3 million of marijuana in Clermont County Friday.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized nearly $3 million worth of marijuana after a recent traffic stop in Clermont County.

Troopers pulled over Jermaine Jackson, 33, Thursday morning for allegedly speeding and following other cars too closely on Ohio 32, according to a news release from the patrol's Batavia post.

A search of the vehicle revealed more than 650 pounds of marijuana stashed in Jackson's Chevrolet Tahoe, the release states.

Jackson was arrested and charged with felonies for possession and trafficking in marijuana.

If convicted, he could face up to 16 years in prison and a maximum fine of $30,000, the release states.
