Producers keep tight-lipped about the application process.
But we do know that if your initial entry has been successful, you will hear via telephone call in the following weeks.
From here, there are secret auditions and challenges, before the final selection of contestants is made.
Who will host the 2018 Great British Sewing Bee?
It has been announced that comedian Joe Lycett is set to replace Claudia Winkleman as the show’s presenter.
The Strictly host will no longer present the series, due to other work commitments.
Instead stand-up comedian Joe will be stepping in to replace her for the 2018 series.
