Day four of Gold Coast Schoolies 2014

Thirteen schoolies were arrested overnight on 16 charges for mainly public nuisance and street related offences with police pleased with the overall crowd behavior at the Surfers Paradise schoolies celebrations.

Of the 13 male schoolies arrested eight were for drug offences relating to cannabis and ecstasy.

There were also 80 schoolies given liquor infringement notices for drinking in a public place.

Of the non-schoolies arrested, there were 12 people arrested on 17 charges which were mainly for public nuisance.

There were also 12 liquor infringement notices issued to non-schoolies for drinking in a public place.
