Yankees starter Severino to start Sunday against Manatees

New York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino will make a rehab start Sunday against the Brevard County Manatees at Space Coast Stadium.

Severino will make the start for the Tampa Yankees as he comes back from a mild strain in his right triceps.

It will be Severino's first game against the Manatees as he made just four games before being promoted to Class-A Charleston. During those four starts with Tampa, Severino pitched to a 1-1 record, striking out 28 batters over 20 2/3 innings.

The right-hander was 0-6 with a 7.46 ERA in seven starts for the Yankees before going on the disabled list on May 14.
